How to Create Letter Templates

‘Letter’ templates are now generally used as email templates when mass emailing e-newsletters and sales promotions. Some users may still have printable letters in the Letters library.
Create a New Letter Template from Existing Template
- Go to the menu item Marketing → Letters

Select the Preview button, then Save As to create a new template using an existing template as a starting point.


- Rename the template and make changes to the new template using the HTML editor. For more information on how to get the most out of the HTML editor, please click here.
- When using a multi-section row (2 or more horizontal columns on a single row), be sure to check the box for the property of the row “Do not stack on mobile”, whether you are designing a template from scratch or editing a new copy of an existing template.

- Click Save in the upper-right corner to save updates to your new template. Clicking save will take you back to the list of Letter templates.
- Clicking Cancel will not save any of your changes.
Create a New Letter Template from Scratch
- Go to the menu item Marketing → Letters
- Click the blue “plus” button in the upper-right corner of the screen then name your new template.


- You can then select which template set-up you would like to build from.

- Hover over the template you’d like to build, and click Select.
- From here, drag and drop Rows onto the template. Assign content with options from the Content panel (text box, images, social media icons and more).
- When using a multi-section row (2 or more horizontal columns on a single row), be sure to check the box for the property of the row “Do not stack on mobile”, whether you are designing a template from scratch or editing a new copy of an existing template.

- Click Save in the upper right corner to save your new template. Clicking save will take you back to the Letter template display screen.
- Clicking Cancel will not save any of your changes.
